Pet Transport Requirements and Guidelines
At Air Sea and Land Pet Transport, we are committed to ensuring the safe and comfortable transportation of your furry friends. In order to ensure that your pet's travel experience is stress-free and successful, it's important to be aware of the requirements and guidelines for pet transport. Here are some of the key things you need to know before traveling with your pet:
-
Health Certificate and Vaccinations:
Most airlines and countries require a health certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian USDA, dated within 10 days of travel. Your pet must also be up to date on all required vaccinations. We make sure your pet can fly checking all vaccines, and health certificates.
2. Crate Size and Requirements:
We provide the right crate for your pet after collecting the measurements and weight. Your pet will travel in an airline-approved crate that is the appropriate size for its weight and height.
If you have your own crate:
Make sure to measure your pet carefully and choose a crate that meets the airline's requirements. The crate must be well-ventilated, leak-proof, and have enough room for your pet to stand, turn around, and lie down comfortably.
3. Temperature Restrictions:
Airlines have strict temperature restrictions for pet travel, so it's important to plan your trip accordingly. Pets cannot travel if the temperature is below 45°F (7.2°C) or above 85°F (29.4°C) at any point during the journey.
4. International Travel:
If you are traveling internationally, there may be additional requirements such as microchipping, quarantine, and specific health certificates. We make sure to check with the destination country's embassy or consulate for specific requirements.
5. Breed Restrictions:
Traveling with your pet can be stressful, but with proper planning and preparation, it can also be a great experience for both you and your furry friend. At Air Sea and Lan Pet Transport, we are committed to providing the information and support you need to ensure a successful pet transport experience. If you have any questions or concerns about your pet's travel, please don't hesitate to contact us. We're here to help!
